Description
Lezioni sui contagi. This MS. contains an unnamed student's notes of lectures on contagious diseases, in which considerable attention is given to small-pox and vaccination. Between p. 96 and p. 98 is inserted a 'Prospetto comparativo del vajuolo naturale, del vajuolo innestato, e del vajuolo vaccino'. Pp. 85-96 contain notes of lectures on diabetes. Produced in Padua.

Biographical note
The author obtained his M.D. at Padua in 1793, and in 1796 was physician to the chief hospital in Milan. He became professor of surgery at his native university, and was later Director of the Military Hospital at Cremona. In 1808 he was professor of pathology at Bologne, and finally chief physician at Venice in 1816. He was a pioneer in the introduction of vaccination into Italy.
