About this work
Description
The first item on the programme is about aversion therapy which was used in the 1950s to 'cure' people of homosexuality. We hear from Pete Price who underwent such a course of aversion therapy in the 1960s and from Michael King, Professor of Primary Care Psychiatry at University College London who tells us how aversion therapy is mostly used today. The second item looks at dreams. Two thirds of our dreams are anxiety based but Chris Alford has invented a device called the Dream Director which is meant to help us have sweeter dreams. The last item is about men, women and anger at different ages.
