Some thoughts on group psychotherapy.

Shows a number of patients being treated on group lines. Main points are that two men have been drinking and two others question them about it, and discussion focuses on the subject. Then the film shows the group's reactions to aspects of the first part.This black and white, silent film shows male inpatients and doctors at Belmont Mental Hospital. Mostly we see groups of differing sizes of men in group psychotherapy sessions - as the film is silent they are interesting mostly in terms of watching the men's body language. There are a few other shots of hospital life - men doing occupational therapies such as woodwork, sewing and cooking. And there are a couple of small shots of the hospital wards.
