Description

Colour label for a bottle of fortified beef wine as prepared by S. Stephens, chemist and optician in Milnsbridge, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The label has a gold border and the central illustration shows a slab of beef, ears of barley to each side and red grapes above it. It dates from about the early 1900s.
