About this work
Description
Small poster (presumably for display in a pub etc.), probably from the first half of the 19th century, consisting of 5 verses refusing credit in a friendly manner. Following the first verse are 4 columns of words (more, for, do, you, will, what etc.), ostensibly looking like gibberish but which make a kind of sense read from the bottom of the column.
