Description
The Circassian Tree is also known as the Sandal Bead Tree and the Zumbic Tree. The wood (Red Sandal Wood) is used for house timbers and furniture, the bark for washing clothes and hair, the seeds as necklace beads and a decoction of the leaves for treatment of rheumatism and gout.
