About this work

Description

1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Here Claudia Hammond investigates the psychological impact this has on expecting couples. We hear individual stories from women who've been through miscarriages and psychologist Jane Ogden attempts to articulate the feelings of bereavement. We also hear what going through a miscarriage means for the father who often feel as though their feelings have been pushed aside.
