About this work

Description

Surgicare has revolutionised stoma care; the film outlines some of the breakthroughs. Mr Nichols is a general surgeon at Hemel Hempstead Hospital and attends to a female patient who is experiencing pain; he explains her case history. She had an investigative barium enema which identified a potential fistula. Nichols recommends an operation followed by stoma. He narrates the operation.
