About this work
Description
Dr Richard Seeds plans to set up the world's first human cloning unit. It has focused attention on one of the greatest scientific dilemmas of our time. Although many have reacted to the idea with horror, one press report has suggested that Britain may be the world's first country to licence experiments in human cloning because of the possibility for advancing medical science. Chairman of the Commission, Professor Sir Colin Campbell is in favour of having an ethical guidline, which has existed since 1990, on reproductive cloning.
