Description
A recording made for expectant fathers based on Betty Parsons' book. Richard O'Sullivan was a well-known celebrity at the time the record was made and was a recent father of two-years. The record comprises of three parts: Part I; The Ante-natal period; Blame it on the Hormones; Sex during Pregnancy; The Development of the Baby; The Importance of Breathing; Techniques; Preparing for Labour. Part II: Labour, The Onset of Labour; The First Stage of Labour; The Second Stage of Labour; Delivery by Forceps, Vacuum Extraction or Caesarean Section; Analgesics and Anaesthetics. Part III: The Post-natal period; The After-effects of Childbirth.
