Description
Transmission electron micrograph of layers of collagen
fibrils in the stroma of the cornea. The fibrils
in the different layers run in different relative
directions. Transvere, longitudinal and oblique
sections of the long, thin fibrils are visible in
this micrograph. Each fibril is approximately 25nm
in diameter.
