Advertisement from a newspaper for "the pure acid part" of the lemon which can be used for stain removal on the finest of cloths or cookery, "being always ready, and never spoiling in keeping." Dates for the "price of stocks this day" are given on the reverse for 1751, 1777 and 1778.
