Description
Re-examines current knowledge of the HIV virus with reference to the "AIDS without HIV" theory. Provides a detailed explanation of the human immune system, looks at the history of the smallpox, polio and influenza viruses, explains the mechanisms of the HIV virus and laboratory procedures for handling live viruses. Looks at the latest research by John Hopkins Hospital, the National Institutes of Health and the Medical Research Council. The startling opening scene, a post-mortem examination of an AIDS victim, is designed to focus attention on one of medicine's most serious problems to date.
