Visited by Captain Cook on his third voyage (1777-1780) and described in his journal, January 1779. Identified by Joppien and Smith (op. cit., p. 524) as Kealakekua rather than Kireekakooa. The print shows the ships Discovery and Resolution at anchor. Canoes surround them. In the left foreground, a man is surfing
