Copy 1. Supplier/Donor: Med. Soc. Lond. Lacking final leaf. Binding: 19th/20th century blue goatskin with blind tooling on upper and lower boards and gold tooling on spine. With occasional ms annotations. Inscription on verso of t.p. (erased) 'philippu[s] stubbes' 'pret iiii s'. Inscription upside down on f.xxxvi recto (partly erased) '[Phillippe Stubbes?] hys booke geven him of maister Charles curat off Rowlaye in the countie of Stafforde and coste firste iiii shillinges in'. Another below colophon 'Sum phillippi stubes et amicorum liber pret iiii s'. Inscription on t.p. 'Petri Eckersalli Liber' and '1601'. Catalogue number of Sir Hans Sloane on t.p. 'C.1301'.
