About this work

Description

This film shows men of varying ages practising walking using prosthetic legs. The first section was shot inside in Germany in black and white, showing rehabilitation exercises and the men demonstrate significant agility using a range of props. The men without lower limbs have a temporary backwards facing prosthesis which allows them to gain stability and strength.The second section was shot outdoors at Roehampton in colour showing different lengths of leg prostheses and varying patients' mobility. 1 segment.
