Description
The first in a three-part series featuring the work of neurologists at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London. This part includes surgery on a young man who has had a brain haemorrhage, surgery to ease the pain of a woman suffering with chronic cluster headaches and surgery to help an elderly man severely affected by Parkinson's Disease. The programme includes quite detailed footage of these surgical procedures as well as discussions with staff and patients at the hospital.
