Reproduction note
After Hogarth's drawing in the same direction, acquired by the National Gallery of Canada in 1975. It differs in some details from Hogarth's engraving after that drawing but in the opposite direction (Wellcome Library no. 38141i). As in the drawing but not the engraving, there is a broken ewer on the floor (instead of a cat) and Sidrophel sits on a chair made of bones
