Description
Nuclear Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides a powerful means of not only distinguishing between different types of tissue but also of identifying wheter the tissues are normal or diseased. the diagnostic potential of MRI is demonstrated as a means of detecting and identifing damage to cartilage caused by arthritis and sports injuries. in addition the use of MRI is Illustrated in the context of mapping the effects of visual stimulation of the brain.
