A vivid view of Balaclava shown from along the shoreline. Local people are shown on the coast chatting, fishing and doing their daily work. Two fishing boats are in the sea. The town of Balaclava is seen with its houses and minarets. The ramparts of the city are seen in distance. Balaklava is a former city on the Crimean Peninsula and from 1957 became part of the city of Sevastopol
