Segment 1 An intertitle introduces the case study, saying that the patient showed almost complete anaesthesia of the right side for four weeks, as well as ataxia, disturbance of the equilibrium and a tendency to fall over to the right side. The patient is seen being held up by the doctor; when he lets her go, she falls to the right. An intertitle says that in the eighth week, she began to grow somnolent, although she was completely orientated and rational. The patient is seeing lying in bed.
