Description
Box file containing 42 items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Some of these expectorants included heroin. Includes products which were supposed to cure: dyspepsia, intestinal worms, cholera, dysentery, diarrhoea, whooping cough, colds, asthma, tuberculosis, bronchial disorder, sore throats, neuralgia, toothache, constipation, liver complaints, gout, scrofula, indigestion, coughs, malaria, torpid liver, diabetes, dropsy, internal slime fever, croup, diphtheria, anaemia, rickets, sciatica, influenza, angina pectoris and bronchospam. Also analgesics for pain relief, beta blockers, anticoagulants and penicillins. Includes: Dr. Jayne's Tonic Vermifuge, Melvin's Vegetable Pills, Dr. Pierce's Family Medicines, Dr. Rooke's Oriental Pills, Dr. Rooke's Solar Elixir, Dr. Kilmer's Swamp Root Kidney, Liver & Bladder Cure, Aconitum, Schenck's Pulmonic Syrup, Dr. Morse's Compound Syrup of Yellow Dock Root (blood purifier, cures all humors), Dr. Seth Arnold's Cough Killer, Dr. Williams Pink Pills for Pale People, Bardella, Gadusan, Admune-AQ (influenza vaccine), Beta-Cardone beta-bocker, Corangil tablets (angina pectoris), DF 118 (analgesic), Dindevin (anticoagulant), Falapen (penicillin), Extil (severe hay fever, bronchospasm), Fluvirin (influenza vaccine : 1977).
