Alexandria Troas ("Alexandria of the Troad"; Greek: α ; Turkish: Eski Stambul) was an ancient Greek city situated on the Aegean coast near the northern tip of western Turkey, a little south of Tenedos (modern Bozcaada). It is located southeast of the later Dalyan, a village in the Ezine district of Çanakkale Province of Turkey. The lithograph shows ruined buildings of Alexandria Troas: including arched brick structures and a large building in the distance. Three human figures are shown with four horses: possibly meant to be the artists E. Rey, A. Chenavard, and Dalgabio? The Aegean sea is seen in the background
