    Ordinary expenditure in 1959-60 at £240,183 fell short of the approved estimate by £14,765, and in 1960-61 ordinary expenditure was £235,813, being £30,333 less than estimated. The following table shows Colonial Development and Welfare schemes in progress during the period under review, and the amount spent on each scheme both from Colonial Development and Welfare funds and from local sources.
