About this work
Description
The third in a series of four programmes looking at some of the more unexpected workings of the mind. This part looks at how frontal lobe damage can result in a loss of sexual inhibition. There are two main case studies here: Alexander Laing who had a skiing accident in his 20s and underwent a dramatic personality change, and 'Michael' who had a brain tumour and his sexual behaviour changed and led to his sexually assaulting his step-daughter. The families of both men describe the devastating effects this frontal lobe damage had on their lives.
