Collection of medical receipts found at East Sheen House, probably after the death of the second Viscountess Palmerston [née Mee (Mary)] in 1805.
Containing contemporary copies of two 'Consultes' on behalf of Henry Temple, 1st Viscount Palmerston [1673?-1757], and various medical receipts in English copied out or endorsed by Henry Temple 2nd Viscount [1739-1802].
With other receipts by various hands, etc.

5. Banks (Sir J.). Copy of a receipt for the Stone, 'from Mr. Banks'.
6. Copy of a 'Consulte' for 'Phthisie' on behalf of the 1st Viscount. Signed by [François] Chicoyneux [1672-1752], [Antoine] Deider [ -1746] and [Jean] Verny [1657-1741], Montpellier, 15/4/1724 (4 pp.). Stated by the owner to be '1st Viscount Palmerston's writing' but is more probably a contemporary copy.
