Description
The cartouche below shows two men playing chess in prison; one of the men is fettered with shackles at the foot and the other exchanges a letter with the gaoler. Borselen may be the latter, receiving news that Jacoba had renounced her claim to her territories, and that she and Frank were therefore free to marry for a second time and non-clandestinely
