Description

This image taken in Bangladesh shows how puppets are used in health education about leprosy. Here the health workers are demonstrating the risks of injury associated with anaesthetic hands using hot cooking vessels. The anaesthesia caused by the leprosy means that the hands do not sense the heat of the vessel.
