Segment 1 An overview of the male anatomy is given in relation to the urinary system. A male body is overlaid with images of the kidneys, ureters, bladder prostate and urethra. This is shown from the front and from the side. The intertitles emphasise that this system should be understood so that complications can be treated. The male body with images of the organs is shown again, and the connection between the kidneys and bladder is demonstrated. A diagram of the kidney is shown. The course of the ureter through the bladder wall is shown. Time start: 00:00:00:00 Time end: 00:05:24:22 Length: 00:05:24:22
Segment 2 An illustration shows the area around the bladder from above. The intertitles explain how the prostate is made up of five lobes, and how the lobes develop and work. The intertitles explain that hypertrophy (enlargement of an organ) depends on the degree of urinary obstruction, and illustrations show examples of hypertrophy of the prostate. Time start: 00:05:24:22 Time end: 00:09:59:22 Length: 00:04:35:00
Segment 3 An illustration shows how a catheter can be used to relieve obstructions in the urethra. More illustrated examples of enlarged lobes in the protate are shown, and the intertitles discuss the symptoms of such an illness. A man's body is overlaid with images of unhealthy body organs, showing enlarged protate, distended bladder, dilated ureters and damaged and infected kidneys. The intertitles emphasise the importance of early diagnosis and immediate relief of obstructions in the urinary area. Time start: 00:09:59:22 Time end: 00:15:36:07 Length: 00:05:36:10
