Dr Collins has continued to hold the apnointnonts of Fedical Officer of Hoalth to the Peterborough Borough and Rural•District Councils and Johool Medical Officer to tho City Bhicntion Authority and the Sole© of Peterborough Education Authority. * Dr Greenwood continues as Medical Officer of Health to tho Barnacl: Rural District Council and Hr Rwshnore, C.R.S.X., still acts in the place of Hr Hailey au Sanitary Inspector to the Barnaoh Rural District. „ During the ”©ar a conferone3 was held at the wish of tho / Council for the City of Peterborough to see if a combination of their Public Health Department v/ith that o£ tho County and District Councils could bo effected, not only with regard to infant wolfare, but also with regard to all the public health activities of the two Councils. Representatives of the County, the Cit,r and Rural Districts of Peterborough and Barnacle attended. Owing to legal difficulties no progress could bo rmdo and the proposition was postponed to a moro convenient season. POPULATION.
