What you’ll do

Come and view a 500-year-old book and explore medieval life and the evolution of the printed word with poet Ezra Miles. He will lead you through an interactive poetry workshop examining health, history, religion, death and writing. Ezra will show you extracts from his poetry collection, written over his residency at Wellcome Collection, and then guide you in writing your own. Please bring a willing attitude and a curious mind.

Location

We’ll be in the Viewing Room. It’s next to the Library entrance on level 2, which you can reach by taking the lift or the stairs.

Limited spaces available

Spaces are limited and may run out if we are busy so you may wish to arrive early.

Ezra Miles

Ezra Miles is a poet from London. His work has been published internationally in both print and digital publications.  He recently completed a residency at Wellcome Collection, writing a book of poems responding to its medieval archives.
