Our free study days are designed for teachers and students aged 14 to 19, and are linked to Key Stages in their learning.

During a study day, your group will explore the galleries and engage with our medicine, science and art collections through discussions, creative workshops and more.

We also develop workshops specifically for students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), across ages 14 to 25. Our ongoing commitment is to make our building, services and programme as accessible and inclusive as possible, removing and reducing barriers to visiting us.

Our study days and SEND workshops are:

  • Free
  • Linked to the curriculum
  • Designed to support development of students’ critical thinking and creativity
  • Led by our staff, with you supporting your students
  • Accessible to a wide range of students – please let us know the access needs of your group.

For more information on how many students we can accommodate and the student-to-teacher ratios, please see the individual event description.

Your students will also find lots to do in their own time among our activities for young people

“Staff were fantastic with the students. They really interacted with them and the students seemed like they had a really good time.”
